The presenters will discuss the impact of the new Title IX regulations on all facets of college and university disciplinary proceedings, from the initial stages of a complaint through the investigation, hearing (if any) and appeal process. One of the most significant changes will be no longer requiring universities to hold live hearings, but there are other significant changes as well regarding the scope of and right to review evidence, appeal rights, and emergency measures. The presenters, who represent students in college and university Title IX disciplinary proceedings, will discuss the practical implications of these changing regulations.
