TOPIC: Advocacy Excellence: Navigating Courtroom Etiquette with PA Rules of Professional Conduct

CREDITS: 1.5 Substantive Credits

DESCRIPTION: This presentation will address Pa. Rules of Professional Conduct 3.2 (Expediting Litigation), 3.3 (Candor Toward the Tribunal), 3.4 (Fairness to Opposing Party and Counsel), 3.5 (Impartiality and Decorum of the Tribunal), and 3.6 (Trial Publicity).  While addressing these rules of professional conduct, the panel will use specific examples to encourage discussion about how to handle the stress of the courtroom well.  The goal of the presentation is to enhance advocacy while discouraging unethical, ineffective, and impolite conduct.
