Speaker: Wesley M. Oliver, Esq., Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, Director of the Criminal Justice Program, and Professor of Law at Duquesne University School of Law

Description: Any attempt to understand the law of impeachment, if there is such a thing, must understand the first and most-nearly successful effort to impeach American President, Andrew Johnson. This CLE will seek to understand the law of impeachment through a revisionist history of Thaddeus Stevens’ role in Reconstruction.
