Lancaster Law Foundation Community Grants Program

The following organizations have been selected as recipients of the 2025 Lancaster Law Foundation grants:

  1. Aaron’s Acres ($3,000) – Aaron’s Acres will use grant funds to expand its support for young adults with disabilities, helping families access legal and educational resources to ensure appropriate care and programming for their adult children.
  2. Bench Mark Program ($5,445) Bench Mark will strengthen its mentorship-based programming for at-risk youth in Lancaster County. The grant will support legal education workshops nd targeted interventions for young people involved in or at risk of involvement with the juvenile justice system.
  3. CASA of Lancaster and Lebanon Counties ($10,000) CASA will continue its mission of providing trained, court-appointed volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect. The grant will help sustain their expansion into Lancaster County and fund trauma-informed training initiatives.
  4. Church World Service ($10,000) CWS will use grant funds to provide legal services and case management for immigrants and refugees in Lancaster County. The funding supports direct legal counseling and access to justice for vulnerable populations.
  5. MidPenn Legal Services ($10,000) This grant will fund MidPenn’s Safe-At-Home Project, providing essential legal assistance to low-income individuals facing issues such as custody, protection from abuse, and divorce. The funding supports legal staffing and case support.
  6. Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center (5,000) PIRC’s grant will support its Rapid Response Legal Team serving Lancaster County. These legal professionals assist detained immigrants with know-your-rights presentations, legal screenings, and emergency representation.
  7. Tenfold ($10,000)  Tenfold will use its grant to provide eviction prevention services and housing stability legal education for tenants and landlords. Funding will support legal clinics and outreach for at-risk residents.

As the philanthropic arm of the Lancaster Bar Association, a professional organization consisting of almost 800 judges, attorneys, and legal professionals in Lancaster, the Lancaster Law Foundation is dedicated to funding public interest law projects, delivering pro bono service, and educating the public on civic and legal issues. Through grant programs, community partnerships, and advocacy efforts, the Foundation works to expand access to legal services and education for underserved populations.
