Recognizing the Red Flags of Medical Malpractice

Event Description

Many patients seek legal counsel specifically because they believe they have been the victim of medical malpractice. However, often medical malpractice claims stem from other legal claims and can be overlooked. For example, when a client suffers from an additional injury because of medical malpractice during treatment for an injury sustained in a workers compensation case, or following injuries sustained in an auto crash, there is a danger that both client and lawyer may miss considering the medical malpractice claim. Lawyers representing those clients are obligated to recognize a potential medical malpractice case, and advise their clients accordingly.

Tom will outline some of the Red Flags attorneys should be on the lookout for in providing competent legal counsel to a client who has been injured, and may also be the victim of subsequent medical malpractice. Tom Hall has practiced law in Lancaster for over 35 years, focusing primarily on medical malpractice.
