Description: It's a common misconception that the Occupational Health and Safety Act applies only to businesses in manufacturing, construction and other trade industries. All employers, even those whose work takes place in small office and retail settings, are subject to the OSH Act. Over the past few years, OSHA has expanded regulations which impact small employers and created new compliance obligations. This presentation will provide an overview of OSHA requirements that apply to small business clients to assist attendees in advising clients on their safety and health obligations.
