Description: The Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing will provide an overview on recent changes to the 7th Edition Sentencing Guidelines. This overview will include additions and modifications related to Amendment 5 and the Commission’s response to legislative mandates to develop resentencing guidelines for violations of probation and a Sentence Risk Assessment Instrument to be used by the court at sentencing. Additionally, the Commission will highlight its work on other mandates such as: parole guidelines and recommitment ranges and a pretrial risk assessment tool for domestic violence.
