Continuing Legal Education Courses
The LBA offers many high-quality CLE programs, multi-credit summits, and day-long conferences. We also offer PBI courses on a myriad of topics and areas of law. LBA attorneys and paralegals receive special discounted pricing.
Lawyer Referral Service
LBA members are eligible to participate in our Lawyer Referral Service. The LRS assists the public in finding Lancaster attorneys and is an excellent way for members to generate business and bring in new clients.
Room Rentals
The LBA offers room rentals to members for a modest discounted rental price. Members have priority access to all of the LBA spaces, including conference rooms, small meeting rooms, and a large auditorium meeting space.
Service and Volunteerism
The LBA partners with nonprofit organizations in Lancaster County to offer pro bono and volunteer opportunities to our members. These opportunities help our members use their skills to give back to the community.
Committees and Sections
The LBA’s Sections, Committees, and Divisions offer members the opportunity to meet and collaborate with other attorneys interested in similar practice areas and topics. Sections, Committees, and Divisions are communities intended to support and engage members of the LBA as attorneys and individuals. They also provide an opportunity for professional development and for members to hold leadership positions.
Happy Hours and Social Events
LBA members are invited to attend a variety of happy hours and social events where they can meet other members of the legal community and create lasting relationships. Other than happy hours, events include trivia nights, movie nights, holiday parties, and various other events.
Lancaster Law Review
LBA members receive the Lancaster Law Review via email every week, providing information on significant legal matters in Lancaster County, job postings, and updates from the LBA.
In Brief Magazine
Sent three times a year to LBA members, In Brief magazine includes updates from the association, articles covering member profiles, legal updates, and pictures from recent events.
The Bar Beat
Sent on the 1st and 15th of each month, The Bar Beat is an email newsletter that offers news and resources for members to stay informed about recent developments in Lancaster's legal community.
Tread House
Tread House is a fitness studio located at 28 Penn Square in the heart of downtown Lancaster. Tread House offers 60-minute classes with a focus on cardio, strength and recovery. There are 7 classes a day Monday - Friday and 3 classes on Saturdays. Tread House offers an exclusive discount to LBA members at the following rates:
