In this two-hour seminar you will sit in at the newly renovated LNP Newsroom with a panel of seasoned attorneys from Lancaster and beyond who will go into detail regarding; Right to Know Law (RTKL), what agencies are subject to RTKL, functions of the Office of Open Records, and differences in public records cases involving law enforcement records. Panelists will also review Act 22 -- the law permitting access to body camera footage (including discussion of LNP v City of Lancaster) as well as the Coroner’s Act -- including Lancaster cases PA Media Group and LNP Media v. Lancaster County and In re: Jonathan Luna. The seminar will end with a review of the Freedom of Information Act and a Q&A discussion.
