We run two different types of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) programs. Both are 100% voluntary, meaning that all disputing parties must agree before participating in ADR and being bound by any decisions made through that process.
Attorney fee dispute resolution. This is a program for people who wish to dispute some or all of the fees which they have paid - or are being billed - by an LBA Member attorney.
Arbitration and Mediation. As an alternative to going to court, the LBA provides both arbitration and mediation services to disputing parties. These alternatives are often cheaper than going to court, and they are slightly less formal processes.
