Section & Committee Leaders

Committees support the LBA's governance and key operations -- both internal operations and the outside services we perform for the public.  Some committees are voluntary and open for Members to join.  Others require appointment from an LBA official.  Click below to learn more.

Substantive Law Sections are affinity groups for LBA Members, organized by areas of law.  Each section plans topical CLE programs annually, along with social and volunteer events, and collaborative projects with other sections.  LBA Members may join as many sections as they wish.
